Kayak is the one of the popular summer leisure sports. There are so many characteristics about Kayak. But most of all, it is easy to learn and that’s the reason why everyone can enjoy Kayak.

The parts connected to backwards of the Kayak that can be fixed to the outrigger play a vital role for the balance and stability. It is especially effective for the people with fear of water, but there were no Kayaks with outrigger in our university and we just have outrigger set for different Kayak model. So I have to adjust the height of outrigger. 

First of all, I need to make a bracket to modify the height. After that, I needed some bolts & nuts to connect and fix the bracket and outrigger.

카누는 가장 인기 있는 하계 레저스포츠 중 하나이다. 카누 종목에는 다양한 특징들이 있는데 무엇보다도 남녀노소 누구나 배우기 쉽다는 장점이 있다.

카누의 장비 중 배의 후방부에 연결되는 아웃리거는 균형과 안정성 확보를 위해 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서 물에 대한 두려움이 있는 사람, 카누 주행 시 균형 보조가 필요한 사람들에게 특히 효과적으로 작용할 수 있는 장비다.

하지만 아웃리거의 경우 카누의 필수 장비는 아니기 때문에 제작 및 판매를 타 생산 업체에서 담당하는 경우가 많으며 아웃리거 결합을 위해서는 브라켓과 같은 추가적인 부속품들이 요구되기도 한다.

본 프로젝트에서도 마찬가지로 카누 장비와 별도로 구매한 아웃리거의 안정적인 결착을 위해 결합용 부속품 제작을 시행하게 되었다.

이에 따라 먼저 결합용 브라켓 부품에 대한 역설계를 실시하였다. 또한 이러한 브라켓 역설계 데이터에 기반하여 아웃리거 거치를 위해 적정 공간을 확보해주는 블록 그리고 결합용 볼트/너트를 3D 프린팅을 통해 자체 제작하였다.
